today... finally... its all OVER!
for Mr. Hubby. no more late nights... and super-early morning...
today was the finale... grand finale of some sort..
today.. his car worked for our beloved DPM aka Dato' Seri Najib to drive from the "HQ" aka Bank Negara to the podium this morning for Merdeka Day celebration.. im sure not many would have noticed... in fact i think no one noticed except for me and my sister who was there at Dataran Merdeka... that Mr. Hubby was quietly waiting at the podium to take over the car after DPM arrived. His car... the car that he has been working on since my birthday... "e-Savvy", and 'e' which stands for electric... so electric Savvy... yes an electric car.
Our PM drove drove the "e-Persona"...
But i believe it was all worth the effort considering that "e-Savvy" was initial the back for the "e-Persona"... and that at the end of it all... it was part of the program for the Merdeka celebration. I'm proud of Mr. Hubby... he didnt give up when things turned pretty bad during the past weeks... he persevered and brought the car to "live".. FYI, the car was ensembled manually from scratch... and i dont mean the aesthetic value of the car but the wiring and engine since its an electric car.. very proud of him!
Being the wife, I showed him support albeit a little nagging and whining... i mean if your husband were coming back at 2a.m almost every night, you would whine a little, right???... pls bear in mind that we have only been for 7 months married.. heheh.
so this morning, I woke up at 6.15am when i should have woken at 6am so that i could be at Dataran Merdeka by 7am... which of course didnt happen. After picking up my siblings, we arrived at 7.30am. The place was packed... but we managed to wiggle our way through to a fairly strategic place where i could see Mr. Hubby was waiting at the podium but... he was as big as a red ant.. semut yg besar tu... yup... haiyah.. but i managed to take some photo of him there at the podium and had to get my sister to get photos of himwhen he took over the car from DPM, since im such a shorty... It all took like 1 to 2 minutes.. hhmmm.. but it was all good.
i managed to get a lot of photos of the parade after wiggling my way here and there, after getting halau-ed and shoo-ed and "tolong kebelakang cik, tolong kebelakang cik.." to which i finally ending up getting a spot on the tarmac itself where if i really really reached out, i could have touched the legs of people marching by.. well.. almost touching... but i was that close...
so that was that... we're home... Mr. Hubby is napping.. he was up since 4am. he slept at 1.30am. kesian die... and me blogging. photos are still in the camera... i will try to upload it as soon as Mr. Hubby uploads it which i think will take a while. sorry...
tomorrow is the start of a new month... a month of redeeming oneself and practicing a whole lot of patience... good luck!

cervical cancer
CERVICAL CANCER
i was on leave the other day... and followed my mom doing errands. and one of them was going to get a neurobayon (or something like that..) jab. and my mom asked me to come in as well only because i mentioned that i wanted to ask the doctor about cervical vaccination and only because my colleague mentioned it to me before... i had to sit in and watch the doctor gave her jab... i closed my eyes.. i have to mentioned that the curtains were closed too.. hahaha.. just so you all know that i super scared of the needles...
anyway... bacl to cervical cancer. the doctor said that 2 (or was it 3) out of 4 women gets cervical women. scary ok.. and i just found out that a close fren of mine's mom had it and had to get her womb all out.. lagi scary ok.. what if we get it now like before we get babies... wont it sad and frustrating.
the vacccination is done in 3 stages.. so 3 jabs... from what i heard its painful but bear in mind that i super scared of needles.. for now, each jab costs more or less RM400. so now im contemplating... should i do it? or not? the not is more of the pain than the money.. Mr. Hubby said i should. my mom wants my sister to go coz the doctor said its better before you're sexual active... so since she will be going (she doesnt know it yet), then i'll go too..
check out here for more on cervical cancer and the vaccination
ok im bored now...

malaysia for gold??
i am hungry...
while watching lee chong wei play for the gold medal. i really hope he wins! or is it wishful thinking...
my sister is in the hospital for appendicitis... poor girl. she's in melaka alone now but my dear mummy is going to see her later (again...) after reaching home from melaka at 7pm just just now. she was suppose to be discharged tomorrow but she has fever now... so maybe she wont be coming tomorrow.
she had her operation last night.. kesian her. she couldnt eat anything since 2pm and was in pain the whole time. my dad only got there about 6 ish.. and i arrived just in time before she was wheeled in for the operations. almost cried.. so kesian. i did crylah but at home.. so we stayed at the hospital until she came out. her bf came as well.. so sweet. he only got to see her for like less than a minute.. Mr. hubby, dad and i left at about 1ish. my mom stayed with her last night..
anyhow... i am into cactus rearing.. hehehe.. i had 2 weeks ago and my dad got another 2 from a wedding he attended. how cool is that.. giving away cactuses as 'bunga telur'.. so then i had 10. unfortunately, 2 was dying.. so i had to replant them into bigger pots.. which i did this weekend but 1 died... the other, i trying to salvage. i hope it'll live...
i was suppose to arrange for my massage this weekend but.. tak jadi. so i'd probably go tomorrow or tuesday. my mom said not to go but i think i will just for the fun of it.. and.... Mr. Hubby is also going his "traditional massage"... and he also has to fix his ankle which is still swollen from last tuesday futsal game.. iissh.... men! so degil!
my colleague got my this chinese herb which is supposedly good for regulating your menses, alleviating your period pains and most importantly.. its good for the womb. another colleague said that her friend took it and got pregnant a month ot two after... hhhmmm...
i am in a conflict.. my apartment is due to be ready soon.. i think my end of august. as much as i want to be pregnant, i also want to be able to move about freely when moving into the apartment. now, if im pregnant, i wont be doing much. in fact, i think i wont be doing anything at all and i have to totally rely on Mr. Hubby which i dont like. so how???
come to think of it... its not like i *can* get pregnant as easily as i thot i can... so i suppose i should relax and not think about getting pregnant and think about moving into the apartment. i cant wait!!!
my boss's husband said to me via my boss... "having fun trying... (read: have fun trying to get pregnant)
okie dokey... gonna see what's all the shouting is all about...

my birthday... and being on TV!
Mr. Hubby was on the 8pm and 12am news yesterday and this morning!!
why u ask???
he was in the hybrid car with our PM, Pak Lah yesterday afternoon at the PROTON Technology Week... woohoo!!
to those of you who are not aware of the PROTON Technology Week.. you can go to paultan.org and read ALL about it..
and to those of you who missed the news.. like me.. you can see him in action here. the photos arent really clear but Mr. Hubby is in the passenger seat.. while Pak Lah drove the the hybrid car. he was to explain about the hybrid car to Pak Lah.. heheh..
there also a video... Mr. Hubby will only appear after 50 sec... i dot understand the guy who took the shot focused on the car name... hhmmppfff
anyhooo... i was there today. it was freaking hot but i think it was worth my 3 hours... it was interesting to diferent cars and how PROTON cars are designed and manufactured... no other vehicle companies has R & D division in malaysia okay!! others vehicle companies bring in complete cars here to be mass-produced and sold...
so thats that...
