birthday and cupcakes

went to mr. hubby's best fren's son 1st birthday party

it was a very hot hot day last sunday!

not a happy birthday boy with mummy and daddy

i made cupcakes for my auntie as requested by my mom.. so after class... i rushed home coz Sab was coming and decorated the cupcakes while chatting with sab

it was a good saturday!

it was blue and pink

with a tinge of of purple and cream

i think its a little better than the ones i did before. ive to do some for my cousin's baby shower this weekend... will post the photos then

a day at the hospital

left the house at 10.30am
reached sjmc... i mean SDmc at about 11am ish
registered and waited for the doctor about 15 mins
doc said must do x-ray
ok.. x-ray done at about 11.50am
waited for the result... lame
bought cadbury bites
then ask doc when we can get the reult coz mr. hubby hungry
oklah.. i was hungrier
have to wait for a little while more
about 1.35pm result come
doc said must do ultrasound coz x-ray result showed a 'thing' in mr. hubby's kidney
mr. hubby had to drink loads of water before the ultrasound
then off to ultrasound at about 1.50pm
waited for doc for about 5 mins
did ultrasound
waited for result...
waited a little while more
cannot wait anymore coz we were hungry
doc said can go makan.. so we did
coz doc said result will come out at 2.30pm
makan at bawang merah
tambah duit for carpark till 4pm
7-11 jap beli drinks and snacks
off to sdmc again
doc said can either take jab and take medication
and return after 3 days if pain persists
OR... see specialist now
so decided to see specialist
got jab for the pain before leaving.. jab didnt do much for mr. hubby pun
go to mr. hubby's office to get GL
then to sdmc again
reached at 3.30pm
went in to see doc at 4ish... doc went to the wards
then doc said must do physiotherapy... TODAY
so off the physio for 40 mins which mr. hubby slept through
i did too.. for the last 10 mins or so..
then went to pick up medication
done at 6.30pm

such a long long day...

after that..
makan kfc... beli buah and pegi 7-11..

i have never spent that much of time in the hospital... seriously

and i hid away when he had to take the jab... uurrgghhhh!

cake decorating class

3 weeks ago i attended my first class of four cake decorating class.. we had to introduce ourselves and what inspired us to join the class..

class flew... but we didnt get to play with any icing at all!! chet!!

and so.. mothers day was the following weekend... apelagi i applied what i learned theoratically

for the second class.. we had to come to class with an iced cake.. iced cake means a cake that has already been covered with icing... we learnt a few types of design.. the basic ones like star and lines

next week i have to bring cupcakes! i cant wait..

btw.. i spent almost rm 1k for this course including the tools which they conveniently made us buy... urghhhh.. and i bought a cake caddy too.. which is mahal! but its a good quality.. so yeah...

that is among other i was "conned" into buying... sheeshhh!

recycling

things i do to help dear mother earth

1. i try very very hard to remember the bags when i go grocery shopping... i leave one in the car all the time... just in case

2. i dont use tissue paper after i wash hands in the toilets but use the hand blower thingy

3. i switch the lights and fan whenever i remember... i try to remember often

4. i turn off the tap when i brush me teeth

5. i am keeping my bottles to be recycled

its not much... but at least im doing something

long weekend

yeay!! long weekend!!

friday... didnt do much actually... had breakfast in subang, washed car, tanam pokok and dinner in OU and wolverine after... wolverine was good! u guys should watch it!

saturday... cake decorating class!! heheh... i spent a fortune at that place. aiyo! pening kepala ok.. to buy or not to buy.. the things are bloody expensive but i suppose it you wanted the best, you've got to pay for it.. and so i did. and i have homework to do already. bake a cake and do frosting! and we have to make a madeira cake.. was told that it was sorta a butter cake but denser.. so ive got to google it now..

uhh... first time ever... we had a dvd marathon at home.. after watching football at hartamas square, we bought 2 dvds.. 'bride wars' and 'barcelone'... bride wars was best giler! i so love chick flicks.. barcelona was ok.. ending was stupid..

today.. sunday... got contractors coming over to do water-proofing at home... have kemas and do ironing later. gonna go makan steamboat at ikano later! yeay!! also planning to pujuk my dad to get back this foldable table for my kitchen at IKEA..

ciaos babes... got loads of kemasing to do before tonight!
