one word - FANTASTIC!

another word - HOT... ok.. 2 words.. FREAKING HOT

it was so so hot.. my feet burned. it was red! i covered my arm (partly..) and legs and even put sunblock. i was there early coz Enterprise was started 2.45pm.. in the hot blistering afternoon. but they were great, so it was worth it!!

after that we just hung around and waited for some other cool bands. i got to see Pet Conspiracy which wasnt so bad.. band from China.. anddd Kyoto Protocol!!! lead is so CUTE! heheh..

OC Died

the fluffiest died last Wednesday night *criessss* my sister found him in the drain.. his nose was bleeding and a bit of vomit. so we dont know what happened. my dad speculate that he died around 8.30pm. my mom think he pined to death... mati kerinduan.

our other cat "Brownie" went missing a month back, so this "OC" has been looking for him. my mom tells us that in the morning when he goes out, he'll go around to the places where Brownie would go.. anddd.. he would sit on the postbox (the highest point at my parent's patio/garage) and look out for Brownie

so pitiful, right?! i feel like crying as i write this :-(

Rainbow Cake

i made rainbow cake last sunday.

in preparation for my friend tasha's daughter's birthday

Dian Pelangi

she is this pretty young designer from Indonesia. her designs are colorful just like her namesake!

so, she has just opened in boutique in Malaysia and in Bangsar, no less!! she had her private launch on last saturday and on sunday she had public opening (of some sort). as soon as i found about the store opening on sunday... i dragged mr. hubby out to Bangsar!

got to store and the girls were so pretty (and she had a scarve and makeup tutorial before that!!). mostly indonesians, i think. mr. hubby didnt want to get it. he said it was like 'cult' coz most of them are dressed similarly. if i had knew better, i would've probably dressed the same way. but no, i was in jeans and t-shirt :-(

anyhow, i got to speak to her and manage to get mr. hubby up to the store again (he was downstairs) and got to take photos with her! she is so pretty and super tall too!! ahh..well..

anyway, her store is on Jalan Telawi 2, opposite La Bodega

her scarves are selling at rm60.. at least the ones i got. the dresses that she usually wears are selling at rm250 and there is this batik (i think) cropped jacket, which i think its really really pretty is going for rm800 ish... maybe next time, yes?

AWESOME!!

it was super duper hilarious... i was laughing so much and maybe a little too loud too

i went twice. first time with Sab on its opening night. she had free tickets and it was really nice of her to think of me! but we didnt get to finish it coz 1) it started late like close to 9pm (it was a Friday) and 2)Sab's last train home was at 12.03am and at by 11.40pm it wasnt finished yet, so we had to leave. thank god mr. hubby was already waiting for us. So then, i was determined.. DETERMINED to watch it again.. and i did

watched it again that following weekend.. a day before Finas's birthday.. it was just as hilarious as the opening night, maybe more!! a lot of improv coz they didnt really followed the script.. which made even more hilarious!! went with mr. hubby this time. we waited for cast to come out and got to take photos with them.. i even chatted with Vanidah Imran (she is SO pretty!!) and Dina!!

wow!

it has been almost a year (oklah.. 10 months) since i last wrote. a lot has happened and i mean A LOT

so first things first... the family went to las vacas, mont kiara for dinner. steakhouse. and as usual what i had wasnt as good as what the others had. story of my life. anyway, my sister ordered the angus ribeye - grain.. something like that.. and it was GOOD! should have picked that one... again... story of my life

the occasion was sister got good results for the final final exams (i think...) for her degree. so now, internship (at Zalora! yay!) then masters in Australia.

so, while we were chatting and all... we heard the police sirens and saw the police coming up... and they stopped in front of the restaurant. rupa-rupanyer our Deputy PM and family nak datang sana for dinner. all of us were (and most likely the rest of the restauran were gawking at them.. oklah, maybe not they were..). my sister and i were more interested in Najwa Mahaidin more than her dad. but we didnt go up to her for photos. kesianlah, right? they are out there for a family dinner.

that was that... i had chatime after that.

ok, back to the original story of what has happened in the last 10 months

june11 - resigned and joined the 'tiger' bank and i found out the reason why i wasnt pregnant yet :-(

july11 - watched Dreamgirls the Musical!! was superb!

august11 - fasting started on my birthday. so i had a birthday BBQ dinner

september11 - raya. wore my expensive kaftan i got from Fashionvalet which i totally LOVE! watched Secret Life of Nora! best!!

october11 - cant remember anything ignificant. most likely very stressed with work!

november11 - We Run KL 10K - Nike run. i did it in 2 hours... hehe.. almost died!!

december11 - new year's at Sunway Hotel for the Miss Tourism International. luckily Malaysia won! annndd.. my bestfriend was there too.. and we both didnt know that we both were there

jan12 - i was super busy with office work

feb12 - 4th wedding anniversary! took a sunset flight with JFK which was awesome! then holiday in Penang with the in-laws which was fun fun!

so.. that happened in past 10 months.. well, at least the gist of it!
