long weekend...

we had a long weekend last week...

it was spent mainly on our new home... its empty for now but soon it'll ready for occupancy. i cant wait...!!!

on saturday... we went over to the apartment to check out the contractors there and the showroom. the showroom is so cool and SO UNaffordable... the kitchen alone is about 28k... 28,ooo thousanf ringgit ok.. darn it... so now im hoping on the belas kasihan of FAMA to sponsor part of the renovation

anyone who knows good contractors??? affordable ones... please... please let me know k!

i cant believe the amount needed to fit it the fitting for the apartment... lights, fans, airconds... wiring... piping... seriously... its scary ok... it number just gets bigger and bigger.. haaiisshhh

im hoping for my bonus to pay off part of it... FAMA a big portion of it... and maybe take up a loan for the rest.. whaddya think? go or no go??

my left foot hurts prolly from walking from one kitchen showroom to another... i am so jakun and at awe at all the coolness and the canggih-ness of the kitchen... seriously so cool k. the cupboards have swivel drawers... no more shelves. instead pull out drawers which makes it easier to take your kitchen stuff... cool k..

and then we spent about the 2 to 3 hours walking around ikea... choosing and deciding which furniture to put in the apartment... so like married couple.. heheh... before this i always berangan of having my own place and living on my own but this is way cooler... which reminds me of a friend of mine who could palm read and she said that i wouldnt move out until i was married. i was SO dissappointed back then... back then was in 2006... heheh.. only 1 1/2 yrs ago. how time flies..

anyhow... mom went to see the contractor on sunday, just so she knows or have an idea of how my kitchen would look like... so we went and as usual my mom was more excited than we were. Mr. Hubby and i just kept quiet. what we wanted was just to put in kitchen cabinets and put the airconds. but she wanted us to have built in cabinet in the master bedroom and renovate the whole kitchen... woo hoo! if she's paying... by all means... do whatever you want.. hehehhehe

so now im excited at the prospect of moving in into a new place but not looking forward at the bills that we'll be incurring for the apartment..

any suggestions where to get cheap and pretty lights, cheap remote control ceiling fans, affordable washing machine and refridgerator... or other household stuff...

we are on a very tight budget..
