Stressing about Cupcake

stress is when you have to make cupcakes and your oven is broken and you have 3 days to do it and work is making you leave late! anyhoooo... my sister said yes to her boyfriend's mum's friend to making or look for cupcakes for a 12yo birthday party and the person she looks at is ME!! i said ok at first... then she emailed photos of the theme she did tell me initially but it didnt register in my head.. was busy with work and "another thing" which i will write when it is all said and done so.. she emailed the photos of the theme on tuesday... i was like "OH EM GEE!!!" sh*ttttsss.. i have 3 freaking days to do coz the want it on Sat morning! sempat ke???mind you, i am a working girl ok! balik lambat ok! dah stress pasal appraisal!! so i stressing about the timeline, what to do, the attempted design (coz it was harder than what i drew on paper), googling for better designs or templates (so that i dont have to resort to my own drawing.. im hopeless at drawing), checking out recipes, checking if i have the ingredients.. had to rope in my mum!! so, thankfully my mum could buy the important ingredients Love you mom!! then it was thursday... and as usually i NEED and MUST-HAVE-HAVE these 'Elegant Shimmer Dust' to complete my 'disco ball'..( oh yeah, the theme was 'Disco Rollerskate' or something like that...) and i couldnt go to the store myself coz im at work or even go after work coz they close at 6pm and there is no way i can get there on time. Gahhh.. this always happens when i need something now now! so anyway.. we make the cream cheese tonight.. i tend organize or separate the cupcakes process into a few days and so cream cheese frosting tonight.. tomorrow red velvet cupcake and decorations. so Friday comes.. we make 2 recipes of the red velvet and fondant decorations. i think i seriously need to go for cake decorating class for fondants. i super suck at it.. luckily, my sister was with me so it didnt come out too bad.. i slept over at my parents coz we finished quite late... something i havent done that in a very long time. then it's saturday! the pick-up day! mr. hubby and i went to leboh ampang for 'something' else and 'dropped by' Masjid India after that... heheh.. merayap jap. when we got home, i assembled the cupcakes.. cream cheese with red velvet.. uhh yums! seriously! cream cheese frosting was sedap. cheese overload! perfect! *masuk bakul angkat sendiri* then took a nap.. then when i woke up, i got a call from the uncle saying that they are on the way to pick up the cupcakes! i kelam kabut rushed down to placed the 'decorations' on the cupcakes and i was still doing it when they arrrived.. dah lah my sister takde.. malu wei!! so i rushed.. i thought to myself 'takpelah..rupa takde tapi rase ade..' hahah.. i hope they like it even though it wasnt pretty! i tried my best, i swear!
